ICSE Syllabus

The ICSE syllabus is well-structured, and comprehensive and aims to build analytical skills and practical knowledge for its students. ICSE board exam is known for its vast syllabus, and students must give importance to all the subjects. The board focuses on a detailed study of each subject which helps students to have the flexibility of selecting specific subjects in higher classes.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education also considers the internal assessments to be very important for a student’s development. The practical exam results are aggregated with the student’s overall score. Students who are studying under the ICSE should be completely familiar with the exam syllabus to prepare effectively for their examination.

The board has reduced the ICSE Syllabus for classes 6 to 12 for the 2020-21 academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year too, the syllabus remained the same except for the board classes. The Council has restored the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 syllabus for the 2021-22 academic year. As schools remained closed for a longer time, the syllabus reduction has helped students cover the topics by themselves. It also reduced students’ stress and the burden of studies.
